Artichoke Fritters
Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon melted butter or vegetable oil
2 beaten egg yolks
(save the egg whites for later)
¾ cup flat beer
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well and gradually add beer, stirring constantly.
Allow batter to rest covered and refrigerated 3 – 12 hours.
Just before using add the two egg whites, stiffly beaten.
